 Assignment:

I learned that Information Communication Technology (ICT) has great contribution in education especially for teachers and students. ICT in education offers more opportunities for more student centered teaching, providing greater chance for teacher- to teacher and student- to student communication and collaboration likewise giving room to those students who are good to vocational and workforce skills, similarly for teachers who provide multiple technologies. Yet there are limitations of ICT in education like computers limit the students imagination, over depending on ICT that causes limitation to critical thinking and analytic skills, also giving vision problem due to overused of computers and students tend to neglect realistic and natural learning resources because they much prefer instant answers from internet and lastly students may easily distracted from their learning and may visit unwanted sites like facebook.
I felt that having ICT in education in able the teacher to utilize ICT to guide the students and to develop knowledge and skills to further up high critical and innovative thinking, complex problem solving, the ability to socialize and collaborate to others emotionally and mentally.
I developed wide range of teaching learning process due to use of ICT which includes electronic devices such as computers, application and softwares for me to communicate, manage information and be globally competent individual capable of meeting the demands of national and international community.
